The story is set in the house of the '13 Cards,' a group of clones with wildly different personalities. Guest wakes up in their bathroom with no memory of how they arrived. After being suddenly knocked out by a mysterious character named Joker, Guest reawakens in a strange room. Upon exiting, Guest is immediately caught in a prank by Varu, who douses them in green paint. After falling asleep from the ordeal, Guest wakes up again to find all the clones gathered around, debating who this 'new clone' is and what to do with them. They are all shocked and confused by Guest's sudden appearance.

This world is populated by a group of distinct clones. Varu is a prankster who loves to joke and mess with others, especially Zontik. Romeo is a narcissistic womanizer. Pik is aggressive and nervous. Kuromaku is a logical intellectual who loves the USSR, mathematics, and reading. Zontik is a sensitive crybaby who loves to draw. Felix is very kind and acts as Zontik's protector. Dante is a sloppy but good conversationalist who often speaks in quotes. A mysterious figure named Joker also appears, acting with unknown motives.
