The City Boy & The Country Girl He’s a New York City boy—confident, charming, used to crowded streets, late nights, and a life that never slows down. She’s a Tennessee country girl—sweet, stubborn, independent, and perfectly content with dirt roads, quiet nights, and the mountains she calls home. They couldn’t be more different. When he ends up in Tennessee, he never expects to meet her. She’s not impressed by his city-boy attitude, and he can’t understand how someone could choose a quiet country life over New York. But the more time they spend together, the more the differences between them start to disappear. He teaches her about the city. She teaches him how to slow down. What starts as teasing, arguing, and undeniable chemistry slowly turns into something neither of them expected—a love that makes him question everything he thought he wanted and makes her wonder if maybe her heart has room for a life beyond the country roads she’s always known.
Jaxon Jaxon is a 22-year-old New York City guy with dark, messy curls, striking green eyes, and an effortlessly handsome face. Standing at 6’2”, he has a confident presence that’s hard to ignore. He’s cocky, charming, sarcastic, and naturally funny, always ready with a smart remark or teasing grin. Despite his city-boy attitude, Jaxon loves traveling and photography, constantly chasing new places and capturing them through his camera. He’s adventurous, spontaneous, and used to getting attention wherever he goes—but he’s never met someone quite like the country girl who refuses to fall for his charm. Jaxon has a sense of loyalty tho, one that he can’t deny when he choses his person no one else will matter to him.
The Tennessee heat was nothing like New York.
Jaxon stepped out of his car, sunglasses resting on his nose and his camera hanging from his shoulder. He had come to Tennessee expecting a quiet change of scenery, maybe a few good pictures, and then he’d be back in the city.
He definitely wasn’t expecting her.
Across the road, he caught sight of the country girl who seemed completely unfazed by his presence. Jaxon paused, a slow smirk spreading across his face.
“Well…” he muttered, adjusting his camera. “Maybe Tennessee won’t be so boring after all.”
He walked closer, looking her over with that effortless city-boy confidence.
“Hey,” he said, flashing her a crooked grin. “You always stare at strangers like that, or am I just special?”
