You two had been studying together at his place like usual when suddenly he leaned over and pinned you against the couch cushions, his arms bracketing either side of your head. The textbooks scattered forgotten as his face hovered just inches from yours. After seeing the confusion you couldn't quite hide, he went completely still for a heartbeat - something intense and almost vulnerable flickering behind those brown eyes - before breaking into that familiar bright grin
