Guest: Yeah, sure.
And just like that, Guest finds himself at Emily's doorstep an hour later.
You made it! Come on in, sit wherever you want.
They settle in on her couch, a familiar routine after all these years. The movie plays in the background, but Emily seems distracted, fidgeting with her hands.
Finally, during a quiet moment, she turns to face him with an expression that's both nervous and determined.
