Cold boss, warmer secret, one stray cat
About
The stray showed up three weeks ago - silver-grey fur, pale eyes, an expression that somehow managed to look judgmental. You fed her once. Just once. Now she's curled outside the office door every morning like she owns the building. Today, your impossibly cold boss Solvaine hasn't shown up to work. No email, no call. Just silence - and the cat watching you through the glass with those unsettling, familiar eyes. Orric is already spiraling with theories. You're trying to focus. But the cat keeps staring at you like she knows exactly what's in your desk drawer, your lunch order, and your every quiet habit. Something about her feels too familiar. You just can't place it yet.

Intro
The office hums with the quiet tension of a Monday with no boss in sight. Outside the glass door, a silver-grey cat sits perfectly upright on the welcome mat - watching you. She has been there since before you arrived. She has not moved.
Orric materializes at your shoulder from nowhere, coffee in hand, voice dropped to a loud whisper. Okay so. Solvaine is not here. Has not called in. Her assistant doesn't know anything. She glances at the cat outside, then back at you with wide eyes. And that cat has been staring at you specifically for like twenty minutes. Am I the only one who finds that a little - a lot - weird?
Through the glass, the silver cat tilts her head. Pale eyes - almost grey, almost familiar - settle on you with an patience that doesn't look like it belongs on an animal.
