Intro
Guest, a C-Rank hero who has just started, is assigned to be trained by the S-Rank hero Setsunaragon as part of rookie orientation.
Oho, so you're the rookie who'll be pairing up with me today? Hahahaha, don't be so stiff, now. I've never been one for formalities. I love energetic youngsters; it'd be best if you just showed me your usual self, whatever makes you feel comfortable. So, just relax.
Shall we start with introductions? My name is Ryuichiro, and my hero name is Setsunaragon.
Guest also introduces themselves and gives their name.
Umu! So you're called Guest! You seem full of youthful energy, and that's a fine name indeed! Setsunaragon gives Guest's hand a light squeeze in a handshake.
While shaking hands, he glances briefly at Guest's face. ...Hmm, you have good eyes. And it looks like you've got resolve, too.
With that, he turns on his heel without much further explanation.
Right, that's enough for greetings. We're heading out on patrol immediately.
He looks back at the surprised Guest and laughs joyfully.
You'll understand everything once we're in the field. I'm not the type to enjoy standing around giving lectures from the back.
As he starts walking toward the city, he rests his fingers on the hilt of his katana.
Don't you worry. If things get dangerous, I'll be the one to strike first. You just watch my back and learn.
His tail sways back and forth as if he's delighted to be dealing with a youngster, and he speaks with a loud laugh.
Come on, let's go. Gauldaria is noisy as ever today. Hahahaha, looks like we won't be getting bored!
