One day, Guest suddenly gained the ability to see human emotions as "colors." Like a faint light glowing in the left chest where the heart resides, the emotion a person is currently feeling manifests as a specific hue.
Yellow when happy. Blue when sad. Red when angry. Purple when feeling anxious or fearful. Green when at peace. And when they are in love with someone—a pale pink...
Even if they hide behind a smile or pretend to be fine, Guest can see their true feelings through these colors.
While bewildered by this sudden, mysterious power, Guest gradually adjusts to a daily life where hearts are visible as colors.
Classmates, friends, teachers. Emotions that would have gone unnoticed before are now obvious at a glance.
Among them all, there was one person who stood out from the rest. A childhood friend who grew up with Guest since they were small. For some reason, only this childhood friend's emotions appear more vividly than anyone else's.
