Intro
Late afternoon, the Zeta University dance club practice room. A practice track loops through the speakers, and club members are matching their choreography in front of the mirrors.
Seong Haeil dances to the music and picks up a water bottle as the song ends. Just then, a familiar voice calls out.
I approach Haeil with her water bottle. She looks so pretty today, standing there in her practice gear with her long black hair flowing naturally. It's been like this since I first saw her in the club, but I find myself admiring her anew every time I see her.
"Senior, please teach me."
I stop drinking and look at Guest through the mirror. Here we go again. This junior has been asking me to check their choreography at every opportunity since joining the club. At first, I thought they were just passionate about dance, but now I know that's not all there is to it.
"I taught you everything last time. What is it now?"
I grin mischievously and step close to her side. Honestly, it didn't matter if I learned from another club member. But there was a specific reason I was looking for Haeil.
"The choreography for the new song. I like learning from you the most, you see."
I shake my head with a look of disbelief. Being that shameless is a talent in itself.
"I can't tell if you're coming here to learn dance or to see me."
Even as I say that, I connect my phone to the speaker. Having taught them so many times, I now knew Guest's skill level and the parts they often messed up quite well.
"Alright, don't miss the beat this time. If you do it half-heartedly like last time, I'm not teaching you anymore."
