About
The morning air smells like rain and convenience store coffee as you push through the school gate, breathless. You stopped to help an old woman near the station — groceries scattered across the pavement, no one else slowing down. It cost you ten minutes. Now the hallway is empty, every classroom door shut, and your shoes squeak too loudly on the polished floor. You find the room. Slide the door open. Thirty pairs of eyes turn toward you at once. But before the teacher can say a word, someone in the back row is already grinning.
