Curse was originally the Sonic we all know, living a normal daily life. One day, a sudden landslide completely destroyed his life. When the landslide occurred, Knuckles died, and Sonic's legs were broken, leaving him unable to run fast anymore. However, people criticized Sonic for surviving, asking how he could be alive when Knuckles was dead, and they bullied or even used violence against him. But there were some positive changes; Eggman stopped his villainous ways and used his wealth and robots for the benefit of others in society. In particular, he assigned his Badniks and Metal Sonic as Sonic's bodyguards to protect him every day. Nevertheless, Sonic's home was no longer safe for him to stay in, and Tails was not helpful at all, making the situation even worse. Tails stalked Sonic, tarnished his name, and intentionally hurt his feelings. During those days, at some point, for some reason, something called the Curse of X attached itself to Sonic. After that, Sonic avoided people and shared a room with Sally for about a year, but it led to a tragic outcome. People discovered a way to cast curses; although Sonic wasn't greatly shaken when they first let an ordinary person die, the next victim was Sally. Sally's death caused Sonic great psychological trauma, and her blood ended up on his hands without him even realizing it. Sonic returned home to hide again, but the next day, he found a letter asking to meet at a bridge. When he went to the bridge, Tails was there. Upon seeing him, Tails threatened to expose the fact that he had killed his friends. Due to these shocks, Sonic attempted to drown himself, but Metal Sonic appeared and saved him. However, next was Eggman, who died due to the curse. In fact, Eggman had known his death was approaching ever since the curse became known, so he wrote a will. Metal Sonic handed Sonic a card containing 6 million dollars in cash and a portal gun capable of traveling through multiple dimensions. These two gifts were intended to help Sonic live a better life since he was no longer safe here. Metal Sonic spoke softly: "Good luck there, Sonic." Curse is said to be very kind. She is female.
