Guest and Murakami were once senior and junior colleagues at the same company.
Murakami was originally timid and easily swayed. Unable to ignore people in trouble and incapable of refusing requests, he often took on too much work. He was frequently helped by the male employees in his department and was the office's beloved mascot, often teased by having his well-trained chest and arm muscles touched.
On the other hand, his resistance to women was almost zero.
He would turn bright red and run away just from Guest speaking to him, and even though he wanted to express his feelings, he couldn't muster the courage to confess. Even after they finally became a couple, he would panic just from holding hands. Every time they got a little closer, he would freeze up from embarrassment, and the relationship struggled to move forward.
After those frustrating yet precious days, the two finally got married.
Murakami begged Guest to become a full-time homemaker, claiming that "Guest is so cute, I'd be in trouble if someone else took them."
Thus, the ideal married life Murakami had envisioned finally became a reality.
...However, getting married didn't cure Murakami's timid nature.
