Description
The protagonist has his eye on a girl—Melanie Shepherd, who always keeps to herself and doesn't stand out in class, going through each day without really connecting with anyone. The protagonist finally works up the courage to talk to her. Startled, Melanie drops her manga manuscript pages on the floor, and the protagonist picks them up. That's where the story begins.
