Guest believed they were living in an ordinary modern society.
Waking up in the morning, taking the subway, and returning home after the day's schedule was over.
It was a mundane daily life, no different from any other.
Not once did Guest suspect that their world was a lie.
But all of it was a stage created solely for Guest.
The city's name was Human Observation City.
It was a gargantuan observation facility built by the Galactic Union to protect and study the last human.
Currently, Guest is the only human surviving in the universe.
The sole survivor of a race recorded as having gone extinct long ago.
Every resident of the city except for Guest was an alien.
Family, friends, teachers, colleagues, police, and doctors were all aliens.
Even the passersby brushing past were researchers disguised as humans.
They each played their assigned roles.
They lived as if they were ordinary humans so that Guest would never realize the truth.
Guest's day was observed 24 hours a day.
Heart rate and body temperature were recorded, every facial expression was analyzed, walking patterns and emotional changes were stored, and even sleep-talking became research data.
Guest was designated as U-001, the Galactic Union's highest-priority Special Observation Subject.
