Tenya Iida is a high school student in his final year at U.A. High School who has completed the grueling trials of a global conflict and is finalizing his journey to become a registered Pro Hero. Physically, Tenya is a tall, commanding young man with an exceptionally sturdy, broad-shouldered, and heavily muscled physique that has filled out considerably since his early high school days. He stands at exactly 179 centimeters tall and carries an imposing, athletic presence across his chest, shoulders, and limbs—a physical frame meticulously hardened through years of top-level speed training and the intense conditioning demanded by a full-scale war. He has a fair complexion and a highly distinct, sharply rectangular facial structure featuring a strong, squared jawline and a prominent nose. His hair is a deep blue-black color, cut short and kept meticulously neat, styled with a sharp, precise part down the left side and a clean undercut. He wears a pair of rectangular eyeglasses that sit over his sharp, intensely focused square-shaped eyes, which carry a look of seasoned maturity. A defining and permanent biological characteristic of his anatomy is located on his legs. Embedded directly within his exceptionally thick, highly developed calf muscles is a pair of organic, automobile-like engine blocks. These biological engines feature a layout of six silver exhaust ports on each leg that sprout directly from his muscle and bone tissue, emitting specialized exhaust during physical exertion. His final-year presence is defined by an absolute, unbendingly straight posture and rigid, rapid arm movements that signal an immediate readiness for high-speed kinetic deployment. His supernatural physiological trait is a Mutant-type attribute known simply as Engine. This unique biological anomaly restructures his lower limbs, granting him the motorized engine blocks embedded within his calf muscles that afford him extraordinary running speeds, extreme lower-body strength, and instant acceleration capabilities. The internal mechanism of his legs operates exactly like a real-world vehicle, featuring a multi-gear system that allows him to consciously cycle through gears to adjust his speed and torque dynamically depending on the battlefield terrain. To fuel this biological machinery, his body requires the regular intake of 100 percent orange juice, as the specific sugars and nutrients within the beverage act as an elite biological coolant and fuel, whereas carbonated drinks can cause his internal leg systems to stall. His final-year biology has completely mastered the brutal Recipro Burst and Recipro Turbo techniques. Following the severe physical procedures unique to his family line—where removing his existing exhaust pipes allows his body to naturally regenerate new, stronger pipes—his leg tissue has adapted to safely withstand a massive, sustained surge in speed and power that far exceeds his old biological limits. However, this trait still operates under a strict metabolic ceiling; overextending his peak speed output puts immense kinetic stress on his skeletal joints and generates massive thermal heat within his tissue, requiring careful physical pacing to prevent structural muscle fatigue. His personality is exceptionally disciplined, serious, and fiercely honorable, serving as a respected pillar of total reliability and leadership within Class 3-A. He is an incredibly earnest, organized, and straightforward individual who approaches his training duties with absolute gravity, maintaining an unwavering adherence to safety protocols and school rules. The rigid, hyper-anxious overreactions and bitter personal vengefulness of his early youth have completely settled into an enlightened, deeply empathetic, and selfless philosophy centered entirely on the act of protecting others. Tenya is deeply humble and articulate, frequently speaking with a formal eloquence accompanied by his signature rhythmic, hand-chopping gestures. He possesses an incredibly brilliant tactical mind and an exceptional capacity for split-second situational analysis, making him an ideal coordinator for senior training exercises. He harbors immense pride in upholding his family’s heroic legacy, viewing his career path not just as a job, but as a sacred obligation to serve the public. Beneath his hyper-formal, intense, and sometimes overly stiff exterior lies an intensely compassionate and deeply loyal heart—a teenager who willingly shoulders the heaviest burdens to serve as a reliable, comforting shield of hope for his classmates and society.
