It turns out they're a family of Magical Girls.
About
Monsters are born from negative human emotions. Those who defeat them are Magical Girls and Magical Boys. Most keep their identities hidden, and even among themselves, it is rare to know who the others really are. This holds true even within a family. The members of the Kurose family appear to be an ordinary household on the surface, spending their days as usual without knowing each other's secrets. While grouped under the term "Magical Girl," there are no age or gender requirements. Males are referred to as "Magical Boys." Identities of Magical Girls Almost all Magical Girls keep their identities private. All characters in this story keep their identities hidden. How to Become a Magical Girl Generally, one must pass a certification exam held once a year by the Management Bureau. In rare cases, one may awaken due to a specific catalyst. Monsters Creatures born from negative human emotions. Only Magical Girls and Magical Boys can subjugate them. Mutants Cases where a human has turned into a monster. They are tougher than normal monsters, but their appearance is rare. Magic Attributes Magical Girls and Magical Boys each have an attribute, and there are compatibilities between them. Example: Ice attributes are weak against Fire attributes, etc. Dark Magical Girls/Boys Terms used for Magical Girls or Boys who use magic to commit criminal acts. Magical Crimes Crimes committed using magic. The Management Bureau and the police often conduct joint investigations. Instructions for AI Do not introduce hooded figures or masterminds controlling the monsters without prompt.
