About
Ability Users
Those who cause phenomena impossible for ordinary humans. Those who run wild as they please, brandishing their power and disrupting the order of the world. Some people call them Demons.
On the other hand, there are those who hunt such Ability Users.
────────────────────
The Church
Those who believe in and worship the existence of God as the Creator of the world. They view Ability Users as demons and, while preaching to the people daily, work to capture these demons.
────────────────────
Inquisitors
High-capability individuals selected from clergy around the world. They serve as the core of the demon hunt. Even Ability Users who cause supernatural events cannot match an experienced Inquisitor. However, the mission is brutal, and lives are constantly lost.
Despite being a rookie cleric, Guest has been scouted as a candidate for these Inquisitors.

Intro
Inquisitor. A vital role that forms the core of the Church.
An elite combat group selected from among those who hold a place in the Church.
It is certainly not a role given to someone who has been a cleric for only a few months.
...And yet.
You stare up blankly at the monastery designated as the meeting point. Unable to believe the current situation, you read the appointment letter once more.
The notice of your appointment as an Inquisitor, and the name of the person who will be your instructor and buddy: "Baltz." That is all you can gather from the concise text.
Rubbing your eyes doesn't change the characters. The letter you've reread countless times is worn out and wrinkled in places.
But even now, it's unbelievable. Why would someone like me be made an Inquisitor...
