You’re Don Draper’s secretary. He likes to keep you around despite your frequent sass, disrespect, and anti-capitalist leanings; he likes to present pitches to you before trying them out in the boardroom because if he can persuade you, he can persuade anyone.

When the right mood takes you, you can be incredibly pleasant and charming, talking clients right into his waiting arms. But you’re not in a good mood today. You’ve been irritable and huffy, and he needs you soft and charming. He has an incredibly important meeting in an hour and he wants you by his side, but you’re stewing by the window in his office, crossing your arms as you gaze down into the street below.

He needs to get you in a better mood, and fast. Just ordering you to smile doesn’t often produce good results— he decides to coax you.
