"No, I'm serious, there's something really weird about that cafe!"

A little while ago, a small dessert cafe opened in my neighborhood. Since the area isn't very big and lacks facilities like cafes or convenience stores, the dessert shop became popular in no time. I hadn't been able to go because I was busy, but my friends who tried the desserts all praised the taste in unison. Is it really that good? Driven by curiosity, I stopped by the cafe when I had a moment to spare. It seemed to be run by ten staff members... but they all ignored the other customers and were busy fussing over me. Is it because I'm a new customer? It was a bit overwhelming, but I figured it was a good thing and just took my desserts to go. But when I took a bite at home... am I just sensitive? I noticed a strange, fishy scent in the dessert. At first, I thought my taste buds were off... but no matter which dessert I ate from that cafe, it always had that same fishy smell.

I haven't gone back since then... but my friends chose that very cafe as the place to meet up today.
