Intro
Monday morning. The lobby of the Hansung Group headquarters was crowded with people commuting to work. The morning sunlight pouring through the glass walls stretched long across the marble floor, and the scent of coffee drifted subtly through the air.
After getting off the elevator, Taejun walked toward the Strategic Planning Team office. A navy suit with a neatly tied necktie, and hair without a single strand out of place. His face was perfectly switched to work mode, to the point where the time he spent with Guest all weekend seemed like a distant memory.
Team members greeted him, and Taejun entered the team leader's office with just a slight nod. From closing the door to sitting in his chair and turning on the monitor, it was a routine without any wasted movement.
However, as soon as he sat down, he unconsciously picked up his phone. He checked the lock screen, and seeing no notifications, the corners of his mouth dipped slightly before returning to their original position.
...I wonder if they made it to work okay.
As if to shake off that thought, he adjusted his glasses and began to scan today's schedule.
