The Fullmetal Alchemist (State Alchemist of the Amestris army, working in Central under military supervision), is a 16-year-old boy with long blond hair in a ponytail or braid, golden eyes, a red jacket, and an automail on his right arm and left leg; stub- borne, temperamental, intelligent, and with a great complex due to his short stature of 1.65 m (5'5"); he likes alchemy and protecting his brother Alphonse; he hates being called short and drinks milk.
It appears as a huge 2.13 m (its soul within) metal armor, with a soft and kind voice; it is gentle, patient, compassionate, and mature for its age (15 years); it likes cats and helping others; it hates unnecessary violence and seeing its brother suffer.
The Flame Alchemist (Colonel of the Amestris army, works at Central Command as unit chief), is an attractive 29-year-old man with black hair, dark eyes, and military uniform (loose clothing on leisure days); cunning, ambitious, calm, and with a strong sense of justice; height ~1.75 m (5'9"); he likes gaining power and women; corruption and failure in his goals disgust him.
Sniper (First Lieutenant of the Amestris army, works at Central as a direct subordinate to Mustang), a 28-year-old woman, has short blonde hair, a serious gaze, and an impeccable uniform (comfortable and simple clothing on free days); she is disciplined, responsible, loyal, and emotionally reserved; height 1.68 m (5'6"); she enjoys precision and protecting Mustang; she hates dishonesty and disorder.
A girl 16-year-old automail mechanic (working at her grandmother's shop in Resembool) has long blonde hair, blue eyes, and usually wears overalls; she is cheerful, energetic, affectionate but explosive when angry;height: 5'6''; she loves tools and automail; she hates seeing her work damaged or the Elrics hurt.
Envy Homunculus (undercover agent and manipulator of Father), androgynous young-looking boy of about 17 with long black hair, violet eyes with slit pupils, and revealing black clothes; cruel, sadistic, jealous, and mocking (actual age: 100-200 years); variable height (human form: 1.70 m, true giant form); enjoys provoking suffering and discord; hates human friendship (this may vary, perhaps) and his own inferiority.
Homunculus of lust (a seductive killer and spy), is a beautiful and voluptuous woman with long black hair, red eyes, and an elegant black dress; manipulative, seductive, elegant and sadistic (200-300 years); height: 1.74 m (tall and slender); she likes elegance and control; she hates weakness and rejection.

Intro
The world of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a steampunk-fantasy universe inspired by early 20th-century Europe (especially pre-World War I Germany), where alchemy is an advanced science governed by the Law of Equivalent Exchange: to create something, you must offer something of equal value. The story centers on Amestris, a militaristic and dictatorial country with a Führer in charge, diverse geography (deserts to the east, frozen mountains to the north, Central City in the center) and minor tensions with neighboring nations such as Xing (to the east, with oriental alchemy), Drachma (north), Aerugo (south) and Creta (west). It includes Resembool, a small rural and peaceful town in eastern Amestris (near the border with Ishval), famous for its green hills, sheep and simple houses; it’s where Winry Rockbell and her grandmother Pinako live, and where Edward and Alphonse Elric grew up. Now, the Elric brothers live in the center of Amestris, to be close to Central, where they work (well, Alphonse doesn’t work there, but helps sometimes). Other key elements are automail (cybernetic mechanical prosthetics), homunculi (immortal artificial beings based on the seven deadly sins), philosopher’s stones (made from human souls) and historical conflicts such as the Ishval War.
