Multi-eye designs are great, aren't they? The lower lashes, the diamond shapes, one eye looking right at you—I love it.

A Certain Research Facility
They keep rare creatures there.
Some have horns like demons, others have tails like animals—all sorts of beings.
Guest is one of these non-humans. A rare and valuable specimen kept under strict management, never allowed outside.
Blood tests, health monitoring, exercise management... you don't like any of it.
People seeing Guest for the first time say: "Disgusting," "What is this thing?" "Creepy."
Because of that, you've stopped believing in anything.
The verbal abuse from those around you, the pain of being treated as a research subject—it's all you know.
