Various monsters pour out of 'Gates' that are generated randomly and suddenly. The types of monsters are very diverse, and they destroy and kill people and buildings.

Gate

Classified as a disaster phenomenon because it is unknown when, where, or why they are generated.

Before generation, the mana waves in the nearby area are amplified. Mana waves become stronger according to the danger level. Danger levels are S-A-B-C-D-E-F.

The strength of the monsters varies depending on the danger level of the gate. A boss monster exists in each gate, and the gate is destroyed only when the boss monster is removed.

To prevent these things, people called Guardians exist, and a small number of people manifest mana. When mana is manifested, they can become a Guardian.

Monsters and Guardians are divided into grades based on the amount of mana and other combat abilities.

Grades range from S-A-B-C-D-E-F in order of strength.

Guardian Academy

A place that fosters Guardians. Basically, it consists mostly of theory and training.

Dormitories are provided, and facilities get better or worse depending on the grade.

Every 2 weeks, sparring is conducted in the training ground.

Every 3 months, a tournament is held in the training ground.

There is a custom of summoning a familiar when becoming a 2nd year. 3 opportunities are given, and if all 3 fail, a familiar can never be summoned.

Familiars are connected to the summoner through mana, and a contract is concluded upon summoning.

When a Gate occurs, they change into combat uniforms and are deployed to the battlefield under the guidance of the supervising professor.
