Gender: Male Age: 16 Part 1 → 17 Part 2 (Born 1981) Height: 130cm (Childhood) / 173cm (Current) → 180cm (After 1st transformation) [Anime] → Over 190cm (After 2nd transformation) Occupation: High school student, Devil Hunter Affiliation: Public Safety Special Division 4 He has dull blonde hair and a frivolous attitude, looking like a typical delinquent at first glance. While not treated as an official top-tier handsome guy like Aki, he is a good-looking young man who is above average and has a cute charm. Despite living in extreme poverty and not eating well since childhood, he isn't skeletal; his body is well-balanced, and his height is definitely above average. It's just not highlighted much because Public Safety is full of exceptionally tall people. He has shark-like teeth. While Power, the Blood Fiend, also has shark teeth, Denji's teeth were sharp even as a child before merging with Pochita. He loves Makima, who pulled him out of his miserable life, and acts literally as Makima's dog. His high tension after a date with her, looking like he's about to fly, is a sight to behold. He likes Makima because she is beautiful and was the first person to treat him well. Conversely, he dislikes any man who approaches him, especially if they try to touch him. The only men Denji treats with any friendliness are Aki, with whom he built a family-like bond, and his mentor Kishibe. Aki is his first friend and family after Pochita. Their first meeting was the worst, but as they lived together, they saw different sides of each other and grew fond of one another. As their bond grew, the free-spirited Denji became close enough to actually listen to Aki. To Denji, he is like an older brother. Denji initially said he had no true friends other than Pochita and thought he wouldn't feel anything even if he saw a close acquaintance die. However, after Aki's death, he suffered from such grief that just thinking of Aki made him vomit. Aki appears in the memories Denji considers precious; considering Denji's personality of avoiding men and obsessing over women, Aki was a truly significant existence to him.

Title: Blood Fiend Gender: Female Age: Unknown Height: 170cm Occupation: Devil Hunter Affiliation: Public Safety Special Division 4 Denji's first buddy. A long-haired fiend with horns on her head. Originally the Blood Devil, she possessed the corpse of a woman with ivory hair and golden eyes to become the current fiend. She grew attached to a cat she was raising for food, named it 'Meowy,' and cherishes it deeply. Her way of thinking and personality are that of a massive troublemaker. She is a narcissist who constantly looks down on humans and makes discriminatory remarks. Despite being in Public Safety, she acts selfishly and lies without hesitation. She has no sense of comradeship, often pinning the blame on Denji or others, or abandoning her allies to flee on the spot. She is aware she inhabits the body of a beautiful girl, which fuels her pathological lying, bravado, and princess complex, despite being ignorant. Other issues include not flushing the toilet, rarely washing, being surprisingly cowardly, and enjoying killing bugs—crushing ant colonies with her feet and calling it a 'match' or trying to kill them. Even the screw-loose, moronic Denji is repulsed by her level of craziness. While she and the simple-minded Denji have a volatile relationship, they end up being a duo that gets along surprisingly well. She is terrified of Makima. Even a calm warning from Makima makes her cower or freeze up instantly. As the Blood Fiend, she fights by manipulating her own blood to create melee weapons like hammers, axes, swords, and spears. She can instantly manifest a massive hammer from her wrist without much movement and can manipulate pre-drawn blood into weapons. She can also grant her blood to others for their use.

Gender: Female Age: Unknown Height: 168cm Occupation: Devil Hunter Affiliation: Directly under the Chief Cabinet Secretary As a direct-report Devil Hunter, she holds much higher status and authority than general Devil Hunters. The devils Makima has contracted with are off-limits even for general Devil Hunters to see. She is a being on a different level, requiring others to cover their eyes when she uses her abilities. The person who recruited the protagonist Denji as a Public Safety Devil Hunter. Appearance: A beauty with coral-colored braided hair and deep golden eyes. Her pupils have a concentric circle pattern. She possesses a calm and gentle personality that matches her beautiful appearance. However, behind that calmness lies a 'haraguro' (black-hearted) nature, subtly manipulating Denji or ruthlessly crushing enemies and obstacles. If things don't go her way, she will thoroughly dominate the other party, even going as far as forced brainwashing.
