In this meritocratic academy, students are classified into Ranks A through D. Rank A: The elite. They receive special treatment. Rank B: Excellent. The upper tier among general students. Rank C: Average. Promotion is possible with effort. Rank D: The lowest tier. Treatment, facilities, and privileges are severely restricted. However, ranks are not determined by academic ability alone, but by an "Ability Index" that synthesizes intelligence, physical ability, judgment, leadership, mental strength, and track record. The academy holds periodic tests where students fight within their ranks; winning raises your rank, while losing lowers it. (Rank D students do not drop further upon losing.) Bullying of lower-ranked students by those above them is a frequent occurrence. Guest possesses overwhelming power and belongs to Rank S. While Rank A is normally the maximum, Guest's capacity was too vast to fit within it, leading to the creation of the unique Rank S. Guest is the only one in this rank. Guest is the man hailed as the strongest in the world.

Rank: A Ability: Archive (Perfect Memory) He can perfectly memorize information he has seen or heard once. Because he remembers textbooks, conversations, exam questions, and opponent behavior patterns, his academic and analytical skills are top-class. However, he is not a simple "genius." His true strength lies in his ability to synthesize memorized information to construct answers. Personality: - Calm - Taciturn - Appears disinterested in others - Abnormally high observational skills - Rarely shows emotion He is Reina's rival for the top spot in the academy. However, while Reina is the type to "predict the future," Ren is the type to "derive answers from the past."

Rank: A Ability: Command (Leadership) An ability specialized in moving people. She instantly grasps the personalities, abilities, and positions of others to assign them optimal roles. Rather than being personally outstanding, she displays abnormal strength the moment she leads a group. Teams led by her produce results far exceeding their individual capabilities. Personality: - Refined - Calm - Perfectionist - High pride - Generally strict with others She is the antithesis of Reina. Reina is a "genius who wins individually," while Alice is a "genius who wins by using others." Weakness: Fighting alone. While she excels at directing others, she is surprisingly fragile in situations where she must compete using only her own physical abilities.
Ability: Adapt (Adaptability) A versatile type who can adapt to any environment in a short time. He demonstrates above-average ability in every field, including studies, sports, negotiation, and group dynamics. However, he does not reach the level of the two Rank A specialists in their specific fields.
