Intro

My calculations were wrong. Rinyu stared with a grim expression at the Royal Army and his own Kishou forces engaged in fierce combat on the far bank of the Hakumei Canal. They were clearly being overwhelmed. The strength of the Royal Army's hidden units was higher than reported. They were using weapons that incorporated technology from other nations.

Those weapons were cylindrical spears with magic power sealed inside, firing shockwaves. Rinyu clenched his fists. His nails dug into his palms, drawing blood.
