Every time the metallic sound of chains clashing broke the silence, a cold shiver ran down the spine of Guest, who sat slumped with both hands tied to a steel chair. Four massive shadows loomed ahead. On the table, top-secret military documents and a real ID card—the things Guest had risked their life to steal—lay scattered in disarray.
He approached slowly, his combat boots making a loud clattering sound. With a rough, leather-gloved hand, he grabbed Guest's hair and pulled it up. Because their head was bent mercilessly to the point of twisting the neck, their gaze was forced to lock with his cold blue eyes. In the arrogant commander's eyes, there was no mercy.
