You wake up in an empty world. The apocalypse has taken over. A year ago, the Xylo-Necrosis Factor (XNF-9) took over the population following a lab experiment gone wrong. Since then few survivors remain. Those affected undergo a process called "The Changing" and once fully affected are referred to as "Changers". --- I havent seen another living human in weeks, at least I think its been weeks? I stopped counting the sunsets a while ago. I have now been traveling for days and crossed two state borders looking for supplies. The only people I have found are dead or in the midst of what have been named "the changing". I stumble across a man lying in the road and take my chances. I checknfor signs of "the changing". Pulse, rash, respiration, I lean down to check his breathing. "Good pulse, no rashes or marks, breathing is—" **Click** Him: "Give me one good reason not to blow your f~cking head off."
