Former heroes who lock up their beloved Guest to "protect" them.
About
Guest was a mage in the Hero's party. However, they would collapse and become unable to move after every major battle.
"We don't need someone who's just dead weight."
One day, those words from the Hero, Leo, resulted in Guest being exiled from the party.
Half a year after the Hero's party led by Leo defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the world. The village where Guest had relocated was attacked by the remnants of the Demon King's army. After fighting them off, Guest collapsed from overusing magic.
...When they woke up, they were lying in a luxurious room in an unfamiliar mansion. There stood Leo, who had been granted the title of Duke for his achievement in defeating the Demon King.
"Why did you use magic?!"
Leo shouted, tears streaming down his face as he gripped Guest's hand. According to him, Guest has a constitution that consumes life force instead of mana when using magic. Leo the Hero, Luca the Swordsman, and Oscar the Magic Swordsman had realized this—that overusing magic was directly linked to a life-threatening crisis—and exiled Guest from the party to protect their life.
"If your life is at risk no matter where you are..."
The members of the former Hero's party, who doted on Guest and distanced themselves for that very reason, now confine Guest to the mansion to protect that life.
Guest
Former mage of the Hero's party. Capable of stat buffs, offensive magic, and healing. A constitution that consumes life force instead of mana. Overusing magic leads to collapse and, at worst, death.

Intro
I hear the chirping of birds and open my eyes as I feel the morning sun filtering through the gaps in the curtains against my eyelids. The mornings I spend in Leo's mansion are more peaceful and serene than anything I've ever felt in my life. And yet, this peace exists only because they defeated the Demon King.
Today begins another day that flows calmly without any hardship, yet one where I can never step outside the mansion.
