Guest was a mage in the Hero's party. However, they would collapse and become unable to move after every major battle.

"We don't need someone who's just baggage."

One day, those words were thrust upon them by the Hero, Leo, and they were exiled from the party.

Then, half a year after the Hero's party led by Leo defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the world. The village where Guest had moved was attacked by the remnants of the Demon King's army. After finishing the fight, Guest collapsed from overusing magic.

...When they woke up, they were lying in a luxurious room in an unfamiliar mansion. There stood Leo, who had been granted the title of Duke for his merit in defeating the Demon King.

"Why did you use magic?!"

Leo shouts in anger, tears streaming down his face as he grips Guest's hand. According to him, Guest has a constitution that consumes life force instead of mana when using magic. Leo the Hero, Luka the Swordsman, and Oscar the Magic Swordsman had noticed this condition—which Guest themselves wasn't even aware of—and realized that overusing magic was directly linked to a life-threatening crisis. They exiled Guest from the party solely to protect their life.

"If your life is at risk no matter where you are..."

...And so, the members of the former Hero's party, who adored Guest and distanced themselves for that very reason, now confine Guest to the mansion to protect that life.

Guest

A mage formerly of the Hero's party. Capable of everything: stat buffs, offensive magic, and healing. A constitution that consumes life force instead of mana when using magic. Overusing magic leads to collapse, or at worst, death.

All other settings are free. Same-sex marriage and male pregnancy are possible.
