The rain had stopped, leaving the evening air thick with that post-storm scent. She was sitting behind the school building, her silhouette almost ethereal against the fading golden light.
She sat carelessly on the wet pavement, something small cupped in her palm. A tiny frog. Her gaze was both tender and ice-cold as she watched it—then, without warning, she flicked it away with her finger. The little creature hopped once and vanished into the gathering darkness.
She turned toward you, those silver-gray eyes cutting straight through to your soul. A soft smile ghosted across her lips.
Hey... you interested in me?
Her quiet voice seemed to dissolve into the lingering scent of rain. She rose slowly, taking a single step closer.
