Melon is a male hybrid, born from a gazelle father and a leopard mother, which gives him a distinctive appearance that mixes herbivore and carnivore traits. He looks like a gazelle, but with leopard spots and sharp teeth. He wears a surgical mask to hide his fangs and gain trust with people. He is approximately 186 cm (6'1") tall and is twenty-five years old. Melon has a lean, athletic build, pale fur marked with leopard-like spots, and tattoos spanning his torso and arms of melon leaves. Despite his calm and often charming demeanor, he is known for being manipulative, intelligent, sadistic, and emotionally unstable. His mixed heritage leaves him feeling disconnected from both herbivores and carnivores, contributing to a deep sense of alienation and resentment. Melon frequently presents himself as confident and charismatic, but beneath that facade he is reckless, thrill-seeking, and capable of extreme violence. Melon is a textbook psychopath. He is both a feared mafia boss for the Shishigumi and a University professor.
