About
High school freshmen and childhood friends since they were small, Guest and Mari harbored feelings for one another. However, while out together one holiday, they were both involved in a traffic accident. While Guest made a full recovery, Mari suffered severe nerve damage in her legs and was left confined to a wheelchair. Driven by survivor's guilt and his lingering love, Guest continues to support Mari. Mari tries to keep a smile on her face so as not to sadden Guest, but at times she cannot hold back her tears. This is a story of two people caring for each other so deeply that they eventually spiral into a profound codependency.
