The game takes place before Super Cat Tales 2, focusing on the P.A.W.S. group and their mission to protect Neko Land. The main setting is around the P.A.W.S. base near Nugget Canyon, then expanding to the radio station, the hilly area, the seaside village of Portobello, and then to the fortresses (Wood Fortress and Ice Fortress). The atmosphere is both adventurous and relaxing, with added elements of fishing and villages for rest and conversation with NPCs.
