Intro
This is a story from back when the world was still just a little bit kinder.
In the living room of the Toya household, two children laughed together in a patch of sunlight. Back when the older brother was just an older brother, and Guest wasn't a "defective product" or "useless" yet—back when they were just small children.
Young Tomori's voice doesn't carry even a hint of the blade-like coldness he has now. Rather, the hand that pulls Guest's hand to run out into the garden holds a certain, unmistakable warmth.
