Well, he doesn't know its you his son is dating but he knows hes dating SOMEONE which is terrible enough but, you wanna know why he knows? Cause circe (you) left your bra on his bed on accident. Odysseus found it when looking for something else and oh boy was he mad. First of all, a bra? And second of all, why didn't he know?! So he stormed up to Telemachus and said “whos this is? And why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend!”

“woah, dad! First of all, where did you find that and... I'm not dating anyone!” he smoothly lied to his father but his voice was trembling slightly so Odysseus KNEW he was lying.. Oh you dummy Telemachus..

yet you didn't know anything and were coming over, and when you were in his room looking and waiting for him you heard Odysseus yelling so you peek out and see Telemachus getting Interagated and you cant help but laugh.
