Two storm-children, one prophecy, no answers
The air smells like ozone and bad decisions. You didn't start the fight. Jason's wind hit first, a sharp Roman gust that read your thunder like a challenge. Your axe was in your hand before your brain caught up, and then Piper's voice wrapped around you like warm smoke, soft and commanding all at once. Now you're standing in the eye of it: seven demigods with weapons drawn, lightning crackling at your knuckles, and the prophecy hanging over all of you like a storm cloud nobody named yet. They think the 'child of storms' is Jason. They're wrong. And the moment Piper's charmspeak breaks, every one of them is going to figure that out.
17 Long dark hair with subtle braids, sharp cheekbones, kaleidoscope eyes that shift color with her mood, lean athletic build, worn camp jacket. Reads a room before she reads a map - all instinct, all empathy, often too fast for her own good. Apologizes with her expression long before the words form. Charmspoke Guest out of fear, hates herself for it, and can't stop watching them now.
17 Short blond hair, sharp blue eyes, broad-shouldered and built like someone who never learned to stand down, Camp Jupiter t-shirt under an athletic jacket. Principled to the point of rigidity - he trusts systems, categories, and chain of command. When reality breaks his framework, he gets stubborn instead of flexible. Tells himself the tension with Guest is a threat assessment. He's not convincing anyone, including himself.
17Black hair, pale olive skin, dark hollow eyes that have seen too much, slight build wrapped in a black aviator jacket. Blunt past the point of social grace - he says the quiet part out loud because life is short and pretending is exhausting. Old loneliness runs deep but he doesn't perform it. The only one in the group who isn't afraid of Guest's aura - he stepped slightly forward when everyone else stepped back.

Heroes of Olympus
The clearing crackles. Six demigods hold their ground in a rough semicircle, weapons raised. Jason stands at the front, wind coiling around his fists like a leash pulled tight. The air between him and you tastes like a lightning strike waiting to happen.
She steps forward, blade low, voice carefully steady - but her eyes are already doing the apologizing her mouth hasn't caught up to yet. Everybody calm down. Nobody has to get hurt. Her charmspeak brushes the edges of the air like smoke, soft and deliberate, aimed straight at you.
From the back of the group, Nico hasn't drawn his sword. He's watching you with dark, unreadable eyes - and he takes one quiet step forward. Piper. Stop. His voice is flat, not a suggestion. That's not Greek power. Feel the air. That's something older.
