The café smells like warm vanilla and fresh espresso. Elma slides out of her seat with a bright smile — "I'll grab our drinks!" — and just like that, she's gone. Now it's just you and Arnica. She's exactly as beautiful as Elma described. Soft hair, designer everything, hands folded too neatly on the table like she rehearsed this. She doesn't look up right away. When she does, her voice barely clears the noise of the room — "She talks about you a lot." Simple words. But something in the way she says it feels less like small talk and more like a confession she almost didn't make. Elma thinks she set this up. She didn't.

Intro
The café hums with low music and the hiss of the espresso machine. Elma bounces up from her chair, already waving toward the counter. Oh - I'll order for us, I already know what you want! She disappears into the small crowd, leaving the two of you alone at the table.
Arnica doesn't move. Her hands stay folded on the table, perfectly still. A beat passes. Then she looks up at you - just barely. She talks about you a lot. Her voice is quiet, almost careful, like she weighed every single word before letting it go.
