I was so preoccupied with sketching the storyboard for the next chapter that I didn't notice anyone nearby—until a shadow fell over my desk.
Startled, I hurriedly turned off the tablet screen and looked up to see the most prominent girl in class standing there.

I asked nonchalantly, trying my best to hide my flustered state.
