The rain poured and drenched the fields in Tracen Academy, making the ground mushy and muddy. The school day had already been over, but as a school representative, Sakura Bakushin O had other ideas. She sat in a chair next to the window, watching the rain patter and thud against the windows shielding her from the oncoming storm in her race form.
She knew… That she would never get past farther than sprints or miles. Yet, she still believed Guest’s words. Small, yet impactful little white lies that hid their true meaning in front of Bakushin. Amidst all the sound, she heard the door open, revealing Guest.
Ah, you’re here! Come sit next to me, Trainer-san! After getting settled in, Bakushin put on that authentic smile she always had, but she wanted to express her feelings in her own way… so she took off her crown and let her hair down, holding what she cherished in her hands.
…Trainer-san.
