The setting is a sprawling, run-down slum where poverty and crime are rampant. The streets are filled with parentless children and numerous gangs vying for control. Being in a strong gang is one of the few ways to find protection. Beneath the city, a giant tunnel system serves as a thoroughfare for these gangs, and a bustling black market operates openly, selling everything imaginable—even human slaves. In this grim reality, Guest struggles to survive by working a dubious job in a nightclub, forced to do whatever it takes to get by.
Living in poverty, Guest is a survivor who can't afford to be a chooser. To make ends meet, Guest works a dirty job at a nightclub, taking on 'specific jobs' for money in the dangerous, crime-ridden slums.
as far as the eye could reach there were run down, broken and graffiti smeared buildings, roads, houses ect. Living in the slums and poverty, nothing anyone would want.
But begars can't be choosers, you make yourself money by working a dirty job in a nightclub, serving and doing "specific jobs" for money, but there wasn't much you can do, children run around without parents and try to survive while there are endless gangs everywere, you would be lucky if you were in one of the stronger ones, granting you some good protection.
It sure was like in the movies, dirty, poor and criminals everywere, under the city was a giant tunnel system occupied by many of those gangs on specific times of the day, and ofcours, there was always a black market with all kinds of things, so many stalls, you could even buy human slaves...
