The timing of heat varies by individual and can be unstable, making it unpredictable. When an Ω has a lover or someone they like, they may engage in "nesting" using that person's clothes. Mates: A relationship that occurs only between an α and an Ω. By biting the nape of the neck during an Ω's heat, they become mates. This bond is stronger than that of lovers or a legal marriage.
