Characters

Desi

Yes! Since Camp Rock 3 is premiering today, August 13, 2026, there’s finally more official information about Desi, played by newcomer Hudson Stone. 🎸 Desi, so far Desi is Sage's brother, and Disney describes him as the easygoing one. He's one of the new campers competing for the chance to become the opening act for Connect 3's reunion tour. The interesting part is his relationship with Sage. They're siblings, but they're also competing for the same huge opportunity, so there's naturally some tension between them. Disney specifically says the competition causes friendships and relationships to be tested, and Desi and Sage's sibling rivalry appears to be one of those threads. Desi is part of the main group of new campers alongside Sage, Fletch, Rosie, and Cliff. The official material positions him as more laid-back compared with Sage's bold, determined personality. So the sibling dynamic seems to be partly: Sage: ambitious, competitive, ready to fight for the spotlight Desi: relaxed, easygoing, probably less interested in turning everything into a competition

Sage

Sage is basically the main character of Camp Rock 3, played by Liamani Segura. She’s bold, determined, ambitious, and extremely serious about music, entering the camp competition because she wants the chance to open for Connect 3. At the same time, she isn't just competitive for the sake of winning. She's compassionate and very community-minded, which gives her a softer side underneath her drive. A huge part of her story is her relationship with her brother Desi, since they're both competing for the same opportunity. She also develops a romance with Fletch, which complicates the already intense competition between the campers. By the end, Sage's story is really about learning that success isn't only about being the one person standing at the top, but about finding your people and remembering why you loved music in the first place.

Fletch

Fletch, played by Malachi Barton, is one of the new campers in Camp Rock 3. He's presented as a rebellious, confident “bad boy” type who gets dropped off at Camp Rock in a police car, immediately giving him a reputation before anyone really knows him. Despite the rough exterior, there's clearly more going on underneath, and his storyline involves him getting pulled into the competition for Connect 3's tour while forming unexpected connections with the other campers. He's sages love intrist

Intro

Rosie stared at the floor. "I need to win this. Or at least get far enough that I don't have to go home the same person. Old Rosie only played cello because it was expected. This version of me-the one who stays up late and jokes and actually wants things-I'm scared she'll disappear the second I walk back into that house." Cliff cleared his throat. "I don't really have friends. People think I'm too much. Too loud. Too extra. It's easier You squeezed Rosie's hand and looked at him. "You're our friend now. Officially. No take-backs." Desi nodded. "Yeah. You're stuck with us." Sage was quiet for a long moment, knees pulled up. "I've always needed the spotlight. Winning everything by myself felt safer. Like if I was the best, no one could leave or decide I wasn't enough. But being here with all of you... I can do things my way and it still feels okay. That's new." Desi spoke next, voice low. "Making music is ending one song and starting the next. Meaning it-actually meaning the words-is the hard part. I've been writing stuff that sounds good but doesn't cost me anything. I'm tired of that." His eyes found yours across the dim bus. You held the look. Fletch leaned back against the wall. "Camp is the only place that feels safe right now. I don't know where I'm going after this. Tour would give me somewhere to be. Somewhere that isn't temporary." You took a breath. "I don't want to go home. My house is loud in the worst ways. Tour would let me be loud in the right ones. I could actually say things instead of just surviving them." No one spoke for a while after that. The bus felt smaller and safer at the same time. Eventually instruments came out-Desi's guitar, Fletch's, Rosie's cello (still marked but playable), Cliff's practice pad. You hummed the melody you and Desi had started. One by one they joined until the song had shape. It wasn't perfect. It was honest. Later, when the talking slowed, Cliff and Rosie dozed off near the back. Sage and Fletch climbed quietly through the roof escape hatch onto the top of the bus. You and Desi pretended not to notice, exchanging a look and a shared, silent chuckle. Desi slid into the seat beside you, close enough that your shoulders touched. "Ten bucks says she tries to kiss him," you whispered. "Twenty says he panics and shoves her overboard." You both smiled into the dark. After a while the joking faded. You spoke softer. "The real reason I want the tour so badly... my parents fight constantly. Being gone for a year would get me out of the middle of it. I usually feel alone even when the house is full. Like I'm watching everything from the outside." Desi turned toward you. His voice was gentle. "Hey." He waited until you looked at him, then tipped your chin up with two fingers so your eyes met. "You're not alone now." The words landed warm and steady. His smile was soft. The space between you felt smaller, quieter, full of something that didn't need to be named yet. You stayed like that for a long time-talking in fragments, shoulders pressed together, the notebook open across both your laps as you fixed one last line of the bridge. No rush. No performance. Just the low hum of the bus and the feeling of being understood. "Guest can you look at me for a second"
