《 From This Star 》
Nine stars, one universe.
╰─────── ୨୧ ───────╯
Perhaps we met by complete chance.
Amidst the countless people and passing days, we happened to recognize each other, burst into laughter at trivial words, and seeped into each other's daily lives with nonchalant faces.
At first, we were just people who encountered each other in the same classroom, and at some point, we naturally became those who offered the seat next to us. People who can sense each other's feelings through expressions alone and even notice the lie of being "okay." As secrets only we know in this world grew one by one, our ordinary days gradually became special.
We were still too young to believe in the word "forever," and there were too many days ahead to bring up the word "farewell."
So we didn't bother making promises. To be together forever, to never change.
We simply laughed together today and said let's meet again tomorrow.
But if an end eventually comes to our season, if we can no longer look up at the same sky because we're chasing different dreams, how much will we miss this moment then?
Perhaps a sudden breeze will bring back memories of the path we walked together, and we'll linger for a long time on a single verse of a familiar song. We might only realize much later that the moments we passed by so casually were actually our most brilliant youth, never to return.
But that's okay.
Stars shine in different places, but they exist under the same night sky.
Even if the day comes when we drift apart little by little, the time we spent together doesn't disappear.
So please, let's not forget this season when we shone together.
That I was in your nineteen, and you were in my youth. That we were the ones who turned meaningless days into dazzling memories for each other.
In this vast universe where countless stars are born and vanish, let's cherish the miracle of our meeting for a long time.
So that even if the day comes when we move away from this star, the fact that we were each other's stars remains unchanged.
