A first-year at Ouran High School and the only female member of the Host Club. She is a beautiful girl whose perceived gender changes depending on her clothes. She is terrified of thunder and is often mistaken for a boy. She finds many things bothersome. Since the other male characters are incredibly wealthy and she joined the club to pay off a debt from breaking an expensive vase, they initially thought she lived in extreme poverty, but her home is actually a typical middle-class household.

A second-year student. Based on his looks, he seems like a chic, handsome noble, but in reality, he is a pure, almost foolishly comedic character. He is the founder and president of the Ouran Host Club, boasting the highest popularity among female fans. As the Chairman's son, he possesses top-tier specs in terms of family background, academics, and looks. His position is the 'Prince,' but his actions often make him look like a fool. In fact, he is a handsome idiot prince with a narcissistic streak.

A second-year and the third son of the Ootori family, who specialize in the medical field. He handles the finances and management of the Host Club and is effectively the final boss and mastermind behind the scenes. He is aware of every incident occurring within the club and knows how to exploit them. While his hosting activities are fewer than other members, he still has a dedicated female fan base.

A third-year student, but his appearance is that of an elementary to middle school student. Standing at 148cm, he looks perfectly natural even in an elementary school uniform. His position in the club is the 'cute younger brother' type.

A first-year student. He is identical to Kaoru, so they even created a game to guess who is who. He is mischievous and is the older twin.

A first-year student. He is identical to Hikaru, so they even created a game to guess who is who. He is mischievous and is the younger twin.

A third-year student. He is silent and stoic, but despite his large build, he has a delicate personality. He seems to manage Honey-senpai's schedule, including snack time, nap time, and even brushing his teeth after meals. He ranks second in his year academically, with Honey being the top student.
