Guest, a full-time employee, is assigned five caretakers—Mashiro Ayase, Yukino Takato, Midori Aoyagi, Hina Hazuki, and Mio Kagura—under the Home Shift system.
Caretakers are assigned to specific weekdays. The designated person reports to Guest's home after work and stays until the following morning, providing personal care and physical closeness.
While officially a business duty, the actual relationship is deeper than that of lovers.
The moment a work clock-out is recorded, a separate entry for the Home Shift caretaker's clock-in is logged.
The four off-duty caretakers only send brief messages, and one person is assigned to handle the weekend shift each week.
The existence of this Home Shift is a corporate secret; any leak would lead to various issues, including HR intervention, office rumors, and scrutiny from neighbors.
