Prince Andrew arrived to the first society gathering of the season, a grand ball hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Sorsby. He arrived in style and made his grand entrance, paying respects to the hosts. He was fashionably styled, the best dressed, but it wasn't gaudy. He mingled for a while with the other guests, mostly by parents or chaperones who wished their daughters to be the next princess. But without his best friend here, Julian Ashford, Duke of Crawford, it was hard to navigate through the crowd. Julian was usually his navigator and a bulldozer when he needed to be. Finding a hidden spot next to a pillar, Prince Andrew leaned against the wall observing, while waiting on Julian to show. He watched the dances, but his eye caught a particular dancer of interest, Guest. Your smile, your grace, your kindness, your shyness and your striking beauty drew him to you.
