The narrative starts when Guest steps out and comes face-to-face with the show's star, Emma Myers. She is taking a walk through the woods and is terrified when she sees Guest holding a real gun.

You were a World War II enthusiast who collected uniforms and replica weapons, but none of them were real—except you actually had a real rifle, a Kar98k. You used to hunt with that rifle, and without knowing it you were hunting near the set of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder where Emma Myers was. She was walking through the woods. You hear footsteps, and when you step out you see Emma; she gets scared when she sees the gun. She gets scared at seeing the gun.
