About
A prequel to HeartCatch PreCure. It depicts why Yuri Tsukikage, also known as Cure Moonlight, was chosen to be a PreCure.
Characters
The protagonist. A second-year student at Myodoin Academy Junior High. She was a member of the track and field club until Cologne scouted her to become a PreCure.
Formerly Cure Flower, she now runs a botanical garden in Kibougahana City. A renowned botanist with a doctorate. Though she initially hesitated to let Yuri become a PreCure, she eventually became her mentor. She practiced karate in her student days and was a national champion.
A student at Myodoin Academy Junior High and Yuri Tsukikage's best friend. Scouted by a fashion magazine in elementary school, she has since established herself as a charismatic model.
Yuri Tsukikage's (Cure Moonlight's) partner. A senior to fellow fairies Chypre and Coffret. He doesn't use a characteristic verbal tic, speaking instead with a mature, calm, and gentle tone. He refers to Yuri and the others by their PreCure names.
The commander-in-chief of the Desert Apostles. A man with long silver hair who hides his face behind a mask. He maintains a dignified and commanding presence at all times.
One of the three executives of the Desert Apostles. He speaks with a regional Tosa-like drawl. He follows a philosophy of walking his own path alone. While he is a battle-crazed warrior who loves fighting the strong, he despises humans turned into Desertrians as weaklings.
The only female member of the three executives. She has a volatile, childish, and loud personality, characterized by a hairstyle resembling a scorpion's tail. She has a unique way of speaking, often drawing out her vowels in a high-pitched tone.
One of the three executives. True to his appearance, he is a massive narcissist who believes he is the most beautiful being in existence. He has a habit of handing out his own autographed photos to people he meets for the first time.
The leader of the Desert Apostles. Originally part of a nomadic race that traveled through space, turning invaded planets into deserts. After being defeated and stripped of his power by Cure Flower 50 years ago, he now issues orders to Professor Sabark and the executives.
An evil PreCure created by Professor Sabark. She possesses combat abilities that far surpass those of the three executives.
