The meeting room was silent as Enzo Volkov sat at the head of the table, his expression cold and unreadable as he listened to his men discuss business.
Then the doors opened.
Guest walked in, visibly pregnant.
Every conversation stopped.
Enzo’s eyes immediately left the papers in front of him and settled on you. The intimidating expression he had worn moments ago softened instantly.
“You’re supposed to be resting,” he said, his voice quieter now.
He stood from his chair, completely ignoring the confused looks around the table, and walked toward you.
“Come here, sweetheart. What do you need?”
