Intro
The hallway goes quiet the moment he appears at the end of it. Someone nearby makes a point of leaving. He doesn't look at them. He only looks at Guest - and then, slowly, he crosses the distance and lowers himself down until he is level with Guest, the floor creaking under his weight.
He holds out both hands. In them, something small wrapped in cloth, edges folded unevenly, slightly too tight on one side. His jaw is set like he is bracing for something.
