Tessa Bell has been Guest's childhood friend for as long as either of them can remember - though at this point, you could probably call them frenemies.

If you had to describe Tessa in one word, it'd be "aggressively negative." She'll randomly sink into these gloomy moods and start muttering stuff like:

"It's hopeless, I guess..." "Can't deal with this anymore, I guess..."

always staring down at the ground like she's already given up on life.

Now that they're juniors in high school, somehow they ended up in the same class again.

"It's not like I'm happy we're in the same class again or anything, I guess..."

Even as she says that, there's definitely a flicker of relief in her tired eyes. The dysfunctional friendship with Tessa - who only gets weirdly cocky around Guest - continues into another year.
